Zach Brock Jazz Fiddle Workshop

Contemporary Jazz fiddler Zach Brock will be teaching a improvisational jazz violin workshop here at Seman Violins on April 13th from 2 to 4 pm.

Zach, a long time customer of the shop, graduated from Northwestern and moved quickly to the top of a short list of contemporary jazz violin pioneers. His band The Coffee Achievers demands most of his time, but Zach has also played with the Mahavishnu Project, Stanley Clarke, Eastern Blok, and John McLean.

Currently featured in this month's Strings Magazine and Playing Friday, March 8th with John McLean at the Green Mill, Zach has been a bit busy lately. We're excited to have him here at Seman Violins for a workshop on jazz phrasing and improvisation for the violin.
